Bohemian Rhapsody, Beautiful Boy & Free Solo

Hello to All.

SCREENING THIS WEEK:

BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY opens Friday 11/2 and Rami Malek is a dead ringer for the lead singer of Queen, Freddie Mercury, even Mercury’s sister has said so. The early years, when all was new and the sky was the limit.  Edward Johnson-Ott of NUVO Newsweekly says, I went into the theater hoping for the best and I got it.  While not a concert film, the engaging portrayal of the band’s creative process repeatedly leads to electric performances of their songs.” LEARN MORE AND WATCH THE TRAILER.

BEAUTIFUL BOY also opens this Friday, starring Steve Carell, Timothee Chalamet and Amy Ryan.  This one is a family drama and “Chalamet is asked to hit some big notes in this performance, but we never see him acting. That’s true greatness in the making,” reviewer Richard Roeper of the Chicago Sun-Times. LEARN MORE AND WATCH THE TRAILER.

FREE SOLO  is held over and you can bring the family to watch the rock climber, Alex Honnold, as he scales El Capitan without a rope.  A documentary, filmed by world-renowned photographer and mountaineer Jimmy Chin, is breathtaking.  Ray Pride of Newcity calls it, “The fraught taut action movie of the year.” LEARN MORE AND WATCH THE TRAILER.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
