Hello to All.

IN THE NEWS: You may have heard by now that THE SHOWROOM CINEMA is preparing to sign the papers to purchase THE BEACH CINEMA in Bradley Beach.  We’ve been exploring various locations to extend THE SHOWROOM CINEMA brand and THE BEACH CINEMA is our first opportunity to do so.  If you’re unfamiliar with this retro, single screen cinema in our neighboring town, it has a history back to vaudeville and we are excited to bring it into the family.  There is lots to be done and we plan to have it back up and running as soon as possible while we continue the upgrades, keep watching this site for news and progress.  Thank you for all your positive thoughts and for now, we’ll continue see you in Asbury Park.  It is a glorious time to stroll the streets enjoying the fresh air, fantastic restaurants, the best shopping and of course, new movies every week.

FREE SOLO continues and you can bring your kids to watch the rock climber, Alex Honnold, who does El Capitan without a rope.  A documentary to test your ability to watch, compliments of world-renowned photographer and mountaineer Jimmy Chin,  what most cannot even fathom.  Daniel Barnes from the Sacramento News & Review believes “More than other recent documentaries about daredevils, FREE SOLO succeeds in penetrating Honnold’s shell, showing us why he would risk his life rather than simply celebrating his thirst for danger.” LEARN MORE AND WATCH THE TRAILER.
