Bullied, girly-boy Scott Townsend grows up to become drag queen sensation, Thirsty Burlington known for her spot on impersonation of Cher: but is it enough? A true-life musical adventure as dramatic as it is entertaining.


In a career spanning more than twenty years, Scott Townsend, embodying his female alter ego Thirsty Burlington, is regarded as one of the finest female impersonators in the business.  Raised in Cambridge, MA at an early age, Scott began performing with his uncle in a lounge act.  In his twenties, he discovered an instinctive ability to impersonate Cher singing in his own voice.  Scott has performed in clubs throughout New England, New York, Florida and Mexico.  In 1998, Scott relocated to Provincetown, MA where he writes his own material and performs to sell out crowds.  Playing himself and Thirsty Burlington, Scott stars in the feature, musical film. Thirsty, based on his life.
Lisa Thomas has been working in film and television since graduating from Evergreen State College in 1994.  Currently Lisa is producing the animated series, The Jellies for Adult Swim and Tyler the Creator as well as the feature The Adventures of Drunky starring Sam Rockewell, Steve Coogan, Jeffrey Tambor and Nina Arianda.  Lisa was the Line Producer on Liz Garcia’s One Percent More Humid which premiered at this years Tribeca Film Festival.  She was the Supervising Producer on the hit animated series, Ugly Americans for Comedy Central and the Adult Swim animated series, Xavier: Renegade Angel.  She produced the cult MTV series Wonder Showzen as well as Zoolander Supermodel for Paramount.  Lisa produced the documentary Freeing Silvia Baraldini about the former U.S. political prisoner of the same name and Sid Bernstein Presents about the man who brought the Beatles to America.  She has worked for NBC, PBS, HBO, Maysles Films and Augenblick Studios.
